Elena of Avalor - New Designs & Color Inspiration

Hey everyone!
Guess who finally made her appearance, exciting little ones everywhere.
It's the all new Princess Elena of Avalor!

She's finally here and everyone LOVES her, including my daughter.
(she's already learned all of the words to the theme song)
Disney has done an amazing job with the new Princess and I just fell in love with the
theme and the colors of the show.

I knew once I very first heard about her, that I was going to create an invitation for the new theme. Little girls everywhere will soon be asking for an Elena of Avalor birthday party!
Invitations and decorating ideas are already flooding pinterest. I started a new board
and have been saving a few pins myself.
Princess Elena

But first I had to nail down  the colors that I wanted to use to make the theme really stand out and represent the show. I loved the reds and the gold and decided that the blue would
make a very pretty accent color. To create this palette, I turned to my favorite resource for color inspiration at Colourlovers.com

You can freestyle a palette, or use colors other users have created and saved.
But my favorite is the Photocopa tool, it allows you to create a palette by using a photo. You can upload a photo or search directly from FLICKR images within the tool.
I found a promotional photo of Elena on google,
copied the image location link, and then added it to the app.

From there I proceeded to pick out the colors I thought would work the best and saved it to my palettes. The colors just seemed to really make the invitation pop!

I created an invitation and decided to include her little sister as well.
This invitation could easily work for 2 sisters sharing a birthday party.
Princess Isabel is such an adorable character, I felt it was only fitting to include her!

Oh and of course there had to be a coordinating thank you card. How pretty is that!
For a limited time I'm offering it for free along with the purchase of the invitation.

The invitation and thank you card are available for purchase at my Shop

I hope you enjoyed this post and like what you see.
Comment, like, or share! I love it all :)

PJ Masks Water Bottle Labels - Free Printable

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekends were SUPER AWESOME!
I'm starting off my week with another fun printable for your PJ Mask fan!
Since my invitation printable has become very popular (thanks to pinterest of course),
I decided to create another party printable to share with you!

So today I'm bringing you these simple, yet oh so cool PJ Masks water bottle labels.
Yes, I said cool, just look at them, your kids will definitely think they are cool!
I created a design and color to match each of the three characters,
that way kids can choose the one with their favorite on it!

This will come with all three characters on one 8 1/2 x 11" PDF page.
You will be able to print as many as you need for your event.
I really hope you all enjoy this one as much as the other!
Thanks and remember to pin it, share it, or hit that like button to show some love!

Bubble Guppies Birthday Cake Ideas and Inspiration

What time is it? It's Party Time with the Bubble Guppies!

Happy Monday friends!
Today I bring you a round up of some really awesome cake ideas. I'm sure you have a Bubble Guppies fan dancing and singing in your home right now. My 3 year old absolutely LOVES this show and she knows just about all of the songs, I'll admit I sing along sometimes too!

If not, I'm sure you at least know someone who does :) Of course I saw most of these while looking through pins on Pinterest, I've saved the ones seen here as well as a few more to my Bubble Guppies Party Theme board. You can follow it here if you'd like more bubble guppies party ideas.

There are so many talented people in the world and you can find inspiration just about anywhere and everywhere. This post isn't just for cake bakers and those crafty in the kitchen (I can guarantee that I wont be making any of these in the future).

I wanted to take a moment to share what keeps me inspired as I come up with new designs. I love the colors and the patterns and decor found in these particular five designs.

Unfortunately, none of these photos linked back to any websites or individuals (oh shoot!), but they are linked to the pins I have saved on my board. I figured I'd still share for the purpose of giving you cake makers and aspiring cake makers some ideas.

If you haven't seen them already, you can view my Bubble Guppies invitations and party printables here. There are lots of design styles to choose from as well as a few t-shirt designs.

Pokémon Fever! Free Cupcake Toppers Printable

I think it is safe to say that Pokémon Go has spread like wildfire in the past few weeks! It has easily become a family affair and a trending topic on social media. I have to admit, my own kids even got me into it. We get plenty of exercise without them even realizing how far they have walked!

To help keep the fever going, I decided to make these simple cupcake toppers for your Pokémon fan, and who doesn't love that little Pikachu?! He's always been my favorite! You can cut them into squares, or use a 2" circle punch to make circle toppers. I hope you like them and enjoy.

I've also included photo's from our last hunt. We walked for almost 40 minutes and didn't catch anything until we got back inside and I was at my computer [go figure!] :)

Feel free to share your Pokémon Go experiences or any funny "incidents" in the comments below. I'd love to hear about them!
